August 20, 2005: Oh, so sweet!

As it so happens now, I find myself squatting by the toilet throwing up (or attempting to). I can hear Veronika coming in and tell her to go away as she's never seen anyone throw up and I'd rather not scare her. She ignores this as always, comes up to me, doesn't say a word and gives me a hug! Then she looks into the toilet bowl, then at my behind and asks me: "Mama, gackis? (Veronikanese for "poop")" I tell her, no, no gackis. She turns, gives me another big hug and leaves.
