December 22, 2004: Still tall like Gohlke
I hope I won't have forgotten important details by the end of this post, because so many things are happening that I can't keep up!
Numbers first: At her 15-month-appointment, that took place when she reached 16 months (due to our move it's all pushed back) she measured 33 inches (83.82 cm - 93rd percentile) and weighed 22lbs 11 oz (10.29 kg - 50th percentile). Two words: TALL and SKINNY. Just like her mother... HAHAHAHA! Obviously she is still 99% her father, except her gender of course (and the lack of facial hair, luckily). She also got two shots this time, pneumonia and MMR (mumps, measles, rubeola) and got a mild reaction to the measles vaccine. She had a rash and was crabby for a few days. It seems to be all over now.
She is still not talking much although she has no problems pronouncing and using the word "nein" and "no". I suppose that means she is already bilingually strong-willed. She also says "ettig" for "fertig" (=all done) sometimes and the very new favorite word is "up". I think I heard her say "auf" as well, but I'm not sure. Anyway, she uses them all at the right time and it's too cute.
Favorite foods:
- MAC'N'CHEESE (She will not stop eating them when served. We have to limit portion size already!)
- pasta of (almost) any kind
- Pretzel sticks
- Little tiny bits of chocolate!
- Salami and sausage
- cherry tomatoes
