April 28, 2004: Clap clap clap!

That's what Veronika did yesterday!!! We were singing "If you're happy and you know it..." and after a while as soon as she'd hear me sing it, she put her hands together! It was such a great moment for me, just like when she laughed for the first time! It's unbelievable to have this little baby communicate back. She loved to do it and I just found myself dumbfounded. Well yes, of course she will communicate and even talk one day, but how how how do these things just happen? I love to see this little person emerge out of the little helpless baby-bundle.
