February 13, 2004: What's up, papa?

I got the permission to show you one of the many emails that go back and forth between Veronika and her father on a daily basis:

Veronika writes around noon:
tried to nap, nursed a lot, i got to the crib, mom left the room.. i tried to sleep some more, did NOT work. rather talked and cooed. then screamed. napping? bah.

played a lot in the playpen, worked out with mom, laughed and pulled her hair -wheeee! rolled on both sides from back, did not roll on tummy. rolling on tummy? bah.

peed and pooped... A LOT. the peaches i had yesterday teeeewtally helped. soaked 3 diapers. am working on fourth. pooping? yeah, baby!

currently checking out baby einstein dvd i borrowed from elizabeth. don't know what to think yet. will rate it later on netflix. am oblivious that mom wants to shower.. will figure it out soon, maybe start screaming.

how are things in your office?

Lincoln responds:
wow, what a busy day you're having! i wish i was getting so much done at work. i'm totally not motivated to work today, especially since there are only a couple of people in the office. don't worry though, i make the same amount of geld no matter what. i'm about to go to king gyro now, which is comparable to a jar of peaches for you.

if it fits into your schedule, please let Mama take a shower and maybe even have a little coffee and cake and watch Oprah or Dr. Phil. we don't want her to be all cranky for the weekend, do we? i will be home before you know it and we can shake it to Al Green again.
